The College Crest

The Emblem shows a clear vision and mission of Holycross Engineering College, and our vision is to nurture our young technocrats so that they can become a blessing to the world. This is represented by the college emblem, which features a beam of light from the sky, a cross in the center, the true word of God, two lions, and the Holy Bible.

The light beam symbolizes Jesus Christ, the Eternal Light that descended from heaven to chase away the darkness. In a similar vein, our institution’s primary goal is to drive out ignorance and guide us along the right path using God’s word in order to receive a hundredfold blessing and become a blessing to all nations.

Teacher’s Prayer

Every time I stand in front of my class, I beseech the Lord, “Give me the insight to recognize the value in every child and recognize each one as a unique individual.” And may I guide that little one along the routes of faith and truth. I humbly ask thee, gracious father, that thou instruct me too, for they look at me for Christian guidance. Amen.
